the lucky numbers never get chosen

some wish for peace
others for everlasting
love
money never comes
the lucky numbers
never get chosen
for the powerball
the most beautiful
woman in the world
sees you as nothing
more than a tool
meant to be used
you wished for
something different
you should remember
to be more specific
—————————————————————————————-
silent demands on your time

whispers
silent demands
on your time
laughter dances
under a cold
moon
she never loved
you and you can
rest easy knowing
she never will
patience is the
lost virtue and
reality is a
tainted myth
plot your next
escape and make
it your last
————————————————————————————
as the rain keeps falling

another sad song
as the rain keeps
falling
her eyes haunt me
like an old lover
dying in my arms
apparently, happiness
has an expiration
date
———————————————————————————-
need to fall in love again

sunshine
with a
light wind
a woman from
california wants
to get to know
you better
and as much as
you need to fall
in love again,
feel like life
is worth living
again
the chances
of any of this
being true is
as slim as the
chances of
you being
related to
royalty
—————————————————————————-
after the morning cup of coffee

these are the
days where
any interest
i had in living
left after the
morning cup
of coffee
the problem
with being
creative is
when the
blind have
no interest
in seeing it
the blind
tend to
make
all the
important
decisions
